Workspace Create a Workspace from UI

Create a Workspace using the Axio web interface. A Workspace belongs to a Project and contains Environments.

Prerequisite

Ensure that you have permission to create Workspaces and that a Project already exists.

Step-by-Step Guide

Login to Axio

Sign in to the Axio platform using your credentials.

Go to Workspaces

Navigate to:

Organization → Workspaces

Click Create Workspace

Click the Create Workspace button.

Fill in Workspace Details

Provide the required information:

  • Name (Unique identifier)
  • Display Name
  • Project
  • Description (Optional)

Review and Confirm

Verify all the entered information and click Create.

Workspace Created

The Workspace will appear under the selected Project and is now ready for creating Environments.

What Happens Next?

After creating the Workspace:

  • The Workspace becomes available under the selected Project.
  • You can create one or more Environments within the Workspace.
  • You can mark the Workspace as Sensitive.
  • You can archive the Workspace when it is no longer required.
  • You can unassign the Workspace from its Project when needed.
  • Sensitive Workspaces cannot be deleted or archived and block destroy deployments for linked stacks.

Tip

Use Workspaces to organize Environments within Projects. Mark a Workspace as Sensitive when its linked resources require protection from deletion or destroy deployments.
